I hope to share with my teachers how to integrate blended learning to their teaching pedagogy. Through this process, I hope to help them overcome their fears and hopefully embrace IT.
The websites that was introduced during the course is very interesting and it gives me many ideas that I would like to share with my colleagues.
My expectation for the course is to find out some strategies to make e-learning more appealing to both teachers and pupils.

My learning takeaway today
I hope to start a community of Blended Learning in my school. I hope to apply what I learnt today and share with my colleagues in my school. I hope that this will help teachers in their teaching of the this new generation of students - Digital Natives.
learning point
The workshop enables me to understand the diverse learners we have and various online teaching tools. I guess, we have to bring ourselves first to be aware of what's available in the virtual world and believe in it b4 we can cascade to our trs and pupils do that we can bring everyone, including us, from Knowledge -> Application -> Wisdom in blended Learning.
My Learning Points
I hope to learn how to create more effective online learning, how we can assess pupils' learning as they learn through online learning, how teachers can effective use online learning to engage their pupils.
learning point
I hope to learn more about the different free softwares that are useful for teaching and learning and to pick up effective strategies in implementing and evaluating e-learning.
My Learning Point
I got to experience some new technologioes and what Web 2.0 is about
I got to know quite a number of free stuff for teaching and learning and how to use these tools for better teaching. Focus more on the positive aspects despite some negatives aspects like not focusing and playing games.
Good to know the different types of learners and the strategies to handle them better.
Have a different perspective to understand students' learning style.
Mel's Learning Point
Blended learning is much more than I first perceived. I believe there's a lot to rethink about the way we teach and share with our pupils. Afterall, they are digital natives and it will take more than the conventionals to get them engaged.
I've also learnt that there is a lot to be done, for our teachers and ultimately for our pupils. There are mindsets to change, infrastructures to set up, routines to encourage and people to speak to.
I am glad to be here learning more about Web 2.0 applications. As educators, time is always a constraint and finding out more has always been a luxury. However, today's workshop among like minded peers in a time reserved just for us is a real welcome. Thanks a million!

Something New
There are many freeware, softwares and websites that i was introduced to. These softwares will help to make on line learning easier then before and definitely worth spending sometime exploring, introducing to my colleagues and using them back in school.
Learning point on blended learning workshop
To be able to know more about free applications and software from the internet that can be used for teaching and learning. I would also like to learn about the strategies and framework that can be use when planning infusion of I.T.
Today's Learning Point
At the end of the day, I would like to know the different blended learning strategies in which educators are able to use for teaching and learning activities.
MY Learning Point
I guess i just want to be able to get more ideas as to how to engage my students, by using tools that they are already familiar with and enthusiastic about.
I also want to learn how to implement ideas that I have, and the best programs to implement them with.

Sage on the Stage Vs Guide by the side
I was stuck by the above phrase about the teachers. It is quite interesting. I have been teaching for many years and taking the above roles as and when I need them. During the workshop, we come across these words quite often and I am able to relate to them.
